The project included the addition of a 250 KW standby diesel generator with subbase fuel tank and weather enclosure at the existing water booster pump station. The generator is designed to run one 250 horsepower booster pump and ancillary pump station loads.
The overhead electrical service from the utility was relocated to underground for better reliability and for coordination with the new generator installation. A new automatic transfer switch listed for service entrance was installed, with normal and emergency source connections from the new underground electrical service, and from the new standby generator.
Information from the generator control panel were connected to the existing telemetry system for monitoring purposes.
The project also included a new 125 KW trailer mounted generator with portable connection, and manual transfer switch at the Industrial Park booster pump station.
